Privacy and cookies

This site is run by Leo Miller (@leoroamer, Northumberland on Screen). If you have a question about your data, email leomillerproductions@gmail.com.

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies, advertising trackers or tracking pixels, so there's no cookie banner.

Your browser stores two small preferences on your own device, only to make the site work as you'd expect:

• Colour theme (nland-theme): remembers light or dark mode if you choose one.
• Intro seen (nland-intro): stops the opening animation replaying in the same tab. It's cleared when you close the tab.

Neither is shared with anyone, and you can clear them from your browser settings at any time.

Personal data

This site has no forms or accounts and doesn't ask you for any personal information. If you email me, I use your details only to reply.

Visitor statistics

If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits in aggregate (for example, page views and which country visits come from). It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.

Services that load parts of this site

To show this site, your browser connects to these providers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information as part of that connection:

• Cloudflare: hosts the site.
• Google Fonts: supplies the typefaces.
• cdnjs (Cloudflare): supplies the map software.
• OpenStreetMap: supplies the map images.

Each provider handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data I hold about you, or object to how it's used. Email me at the address above and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
